ART RETREAT apart from accommodation we have a large studio with wood burner if you would like to spend time enjoying your art in this inspiring countryside.

TIPI yes, we have that too... a different kind of accommodation in a secluded spot.

The Space

 

This historic property features a unique double stone fire place in the sitting room, a large kitchen with Aga and a quirky ancient stone spiral staircase. your room has view to village and churchyard.

Our studio-barn sits amongst pasture land, orchard and kitchen gardens. artists studio and camping spaces available.

You will have shared access to kitchen, sitting room and bathroom. Also please enjoy our gardens and land, the orchard is a particular delight! The barn is also perfect for storing bikes and any extra gear.

Addition meals cooked by your host and acclaimed vegan chef are available as is the artist studio for an additional fee.

We also have 4 acres of land ideal for camping and we will soon have some on-site spaces, during the summer we have a Tipi and campfire space! the barn has wash facilities and toilet.
Equidistant from both north and south Devon coasts we are superbly placed to explore Devonshire and the West Country. We are also right on the "Dartmoor way" cycle route, so we are a perfect cyclists rest! we have lots of space to store bikes and you are welcome to dry any gear in the Barn! our house is pictured on the website, so we are even easier to find:)
